Teaching plan on Metoprolol

I am researching information on how to create a nursing teaching plan on the drug metoprolol. I am familiar with the nursing care plans, however not sure what they are looking for with the teaching plan. If I'm understanding this correctly it's specifically what I'm going to instruct the patient on, and not nursing diagnosis???. Anyone have something to go by or suggestions?

Open your drug book, it should have nursing info and family teaching info etc

I would think some basic info. When the patient should take it. What they should check prior to taking it. When to see the doctor. Allergic reactions. Possible drug interactions, etc.
