Hey! I want to go to TCU in the spring for the accelerated BSN program but prob wont be able to because its so far away from where I live and cause it private and costs so much money:crying2: ... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some great scholarship person or sponsor to happily give me loads of money to go where I want to though:chair:...
Are you going for the accelerated BSN???
Are u already from Texas?
oh sorry, i just realised i was in the CRNA forum so you must be going to get your CRNA. I've still got a long way to go. Goodluck to you tho
Yes, the CRNA program. I live in Grand Prairie--right in the middle of Dallas and Fort Worth.

hey blood, I will also be going to TCU this fall. Right now I'm just trying to figure out how much extra money to borrow over what the gov. is lending me. Obviously need extra to cover remainder of tuition, books, etc.-just trying to decide how much to borrow for rent, living expenses, etc. Probrably will be going down the first part of June to try to find a pad close to campus to live. Other than that, I am just counting the days until I will quit at work.

I will be starting with you at TCU come August. I am anxious to see wht is up as well seeing that I really havent seen much or heard much from TCU since acceptance. I am originally from Oklahoma but have been working in Dallas for the past two years, living in Valley Ranch. I am recently married(5/15), and my wife and I have been placed in one of the graduate apartments just east of our school. It's a sweet deal. $995 per month rent includes rent, all bills, cable with 3 HBO's, and it is only 2 blocks from where we will be having class. My clinical site is Harris S.W. I have allready got all my loans squared away, and am trying to pick up as many shifts as possible to pay off my wife's compulsive pre-marital credit card expenditures at retail shops ...you now Victorias Secret, Limited, etc.. all the things the girls must have at 18% interest! The way it looks so far is CRNA=Ramen Noodles/PB&J, and JAVA. Looking forward to meet all of my fellow O.C.D'rs in the fall. Any similar plans for all you future horned frogs listening?

as a current tcu student i want to congradulate all of you on getting in, you're going to love it, you couldn't ask for a better learning environment, i really couldn't be more happy about deciding to go to tcu and i'm sure you all will feel the same way, if ya'll have any questions for me feel free to pm me, i know ya'll are probably as nervous as hell, but remember, they wouldn't have let ya'll in if they didn't ya'll had what it takes.

I am currently a SRNA @ TCU, and will be starting the Summer Semester next week! Congratulations on your acceptance. I am also from Oklahoma (Tulsa)! I too lived in Graduate housing, and found it to be a great arrangement. Looks like you've got things squared away...and the idea about PB&J is absolutely correct. It will all be worth it in the end. Again...congratulations and good luck! I think you will find the program both challenging and rewarding. ~Aimy

Also starting Fall'04...Just arrived back home from FW where I was able to find a place to live and get a few of the essentials squared away. I plan on moving in around the first of August.
