TCNJ, Rutgers

Hello.

Is there anyone in the forum who has gone to The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) or Rutgers for their nursing program?

If you have, please respond and give me feedback.

Hi MJB,

I know that it has been a long time since you posted this thread - you probably don't need the feedback anymore. If you do still want feedback, I graduated from TCNJ and can fill you in on their program. Let me know!:)

Hi, I will be interested too. I am in North New Jersey and thinking either to an ADN or a BSN program next year, the TCNJ seems very expensive, isn't it? And how long the program takes if someone almost finish all the pre-requisites?

Hi rhp123,

You can go to TCNJ's website and check the cost for the undergraduate program there. The website is tcnj.edu. They actually are cheaper than most BSN programs since they are a public college. Their professors and instructors are excellent, and very willing to help out in any way possible. I would think that if you had the prereqs. finished, then it would take 2-3 years to complete the program. Definately check with them because they are a very competitive college to get into, so I'm not sure what kind of transfer credits they would accept. Good luck!

oh goodness, sometimes i feel like I post the questions up myself, since i am constantly asking myself the same ones. I am a senior in high school now, and I actually applied to both, got into both, and got the same scholarship to both, where i would not be paying much to go to either schools. Does anyone know some inside info about the programs (im leaning more towards TCNJ), or about which program is better, or more intense? Do you go right into the nursing curriculum from the first semester? Thanks!

:wink2:

Hello. I was wondering if you can give me some info on TCNJ application/enrollment process. How did you get in so quickly, etc. I'll be doing the RN to BSN but anything will help.
