Hi!
This is my first income tax season as a traveler & I'd love any advice you have about filing.
I found a website someone posted here, "travel tax" company and it seems helpful & reputable. I'm nervous about sending my info to a company, but I'm also nervous about filing by myself and totally screwing up.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Talk to a few who say they are well versed in the tax rules for traveling professionals and then go with the one who you feel is best. If you don't do your own taxes you will have to trust someone else with your private information. You are the only one who can decide who that is. I have done my own, using a well known tax computer program, had a CPA and now have chosen one of the "travel tax" companies. Good luck with your search and may you never have an IRS audit.

It's almost a year since your post and it's tax time again. I am in the same place you were last year. This will be my first year filing a return as a travel nurse and I am hesitant to sign up with an online "traveltax" company.
I am curious as to how things worked out for you. Any advice you or any readers have on finding a reputable company will be appreciated.
Thanks,

I use Travel Tax (http://www.traveltax.com). Joseph Smith. They are great and very user friendly forms to help gather information. and he's a former RT traveler! ( : great guy. and go ahead and ask questions during the year too.
