I am getting prepared to take the NCLEX exam. I am wondering if anyone can give me advise on how to prepare for the test, in terms of studying, and on the day of the test how you prepared yourself.

hello! i cant emphasize enough how important it is to do many questions. i personally answered about 5,000-6,000 questions leading up to taking the nclex. read the rationales for both wrong and correct answers. when i felt that i wasnt comfortable with a question, i went back to the books and reviewed the material.
i also studied a little bit of everything- fundamentals, maternity (i kind of focused on this one as i forgot most of the material here), MED SURG (cant emphasize enough), and psych. focus on teaching. know complications of disease states and when it is absolutely necessary to take action. master signs and symptoms. learn how to prioritize, delegate as appropriate.
also, dont overstress yourself. when you feel like the test is weighing you down, de-stress and stay away from your material. i worked out, watch tv, did whatever then came back to studying.
lastly, believe in yourself. i always tell myself that i was going to pass the exam and i did. i claimed it already and going into the exam that was my mindset. it did me good in the end. : )

I made sure I knew content first before doing questions.
