Taking my test Saturday

The class was a breeze but suddenly I'm feeling nervous for the test. I know I'll pass the written portion with no problems. I'm just worried that I'll mess up on the skills. I know my stuff but there's always that margin for human error. Any tips or advice?

Just know that you do not need to be perfect to pass. On my first skill I did a few mistakes, but she still passed me and said that you can make some mistakes and pass. So hopefully that will give you some comfort. Just do the best you can, and if you do mess up don't let it frazzle you too much. Keep focused and keep going! Hope that will help you.

I go on Friday to take mine and I am extremely nervous too! I am like you I know I'll do ok on the written but am worried about the skills. I have to pass this for the program and that is all I am lacking so I am praying hard I pass

I take my skills test tomorrow and I am so nervous. The thing is not to be nervous nd take ur time. Always remember privacy, safety, nd infection control is key. so dnt forget hand washing, privacy curtain, nd to keep patient covered. Also if u get occupied bed make sure the sheet doesn't touch the ground. Dnt forget 2 pairs of gloves for bedpan. Also dnt forget to raise head after placing bedpan nd lower head before removing bedpan. Also dnt forget the handwipes. Also wipe hands before nd after feeding. Always remember privacy PRIVACY privacy. Like you said you know ur stuff so you'll be fine. Just relax nd take ur time
