Taking RNC tomm...any pointers?

:uhoh21: I am taking my RNC (Inpatient OB) on the computer. I am very nervous. Anyone recently taking the RNC exam? Any pointers or suggestions would be very appreciated! Thanks.

I took the test 6 years ago, and on paper. Just relax at this point. It is a comprehensive test....it covers prenatal, antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum issues, including breastfeeding. I seemed to have had a lot of breastfeeding questions. Fetal monitoring was on there, but from a pathophysiology standpoint.

Read the questions and don't overthink. Multiple choice questions are tests of recognition. Go with your first instinct, don't go back and change stuff..unless you are absolutely certain you screwed up.

I won't lie to you, it is a tough test. Its like taking boards all over again, only this time it is focused on one major area.

I have never taken a computer test, so I have nothing to give you on that.

I wish you the best. Let us know how things went, will you?
