I'll be taking the NCLEX on Monday and I am sooooo nervous. I have been doing Kaplan Q-trainers (just trainers 1-7, I did not purchase Q-banks), PDA, using saunders and NCSBN questions. Here are my grades:
NCSBN diagnostic test 68%, quizzes range from 65-72%
PDA average of 75%
ATI predictor 77, which somehow translated into a 97% of passing.
I stopped doing Saunders questions because they seem to be a little bit more content that comprehensive questions. My biggest weakness is pharmacology. My program did not have a pharm course so we learned mostly about classifications and common meds like the beta blockers, ACE, ARBS, dig, Lasik etc, but when I do Kaplan and they mention a drug without classification I'm like deer in headlights. PDA has helped me tremendously with prioritization which I always had a hard time with and I am actually getting it and doing much better, but overall I do not feel ready for this test and I am debating whether I should reschedule the test. The more questions I do, the more I feel like I know nothing! I did really well in school but I dont feel that is enough to pass the Nclex and my scores on Kaplan, PDA and NCSBN are not the best; I guess this is what is messing with my head. Did any of you feel this way prior to the test? I guess I just need to know I am not the only one that feels this way... Thanks!
