taking an extra class during nursing school

Need some advice. I have been accepted into EKU AD nursing for Spring 09. Have all prereqs taken care will only have 8hrs for the spring. The 7hr class which is 2 days a week 2 hr a day. And clinical which is 2 days a week 4hrs. Want to finish up my psych degree by the time I'm doe in 2 years. I need one class in order before I'm to be able to take summer classes over the 2 years. Is the first semester nursing program so rigorous that taking one other class will hurt my nurse class results. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I am not sure about how rigorous the first semester ADN program is at EKU. I am on the flip side of you in a way. I have a BS in Psych from there, but the possibility of doing the ADN program is becoming more and more an interest of mine.

I could maybe offer some advice on some of the psych courses that are least demanding, though. At least that would help you out with making things a bit easier.

Let me know.

While I was in school I took classes for a minor in health science. I was able to handle the load well for the most part. It all depends on how rigorous your particular program is, and more importantly your own study and work habits.
