Tailoring?

We have a certain scrub top & pants we have to buy for nursing school. The pants come in my size (XS) but the top only comes in a small. It is tailored already from the manufacturer (Cherokee brand) but was wondering if I could get it tailored to fit me. Has anyone ever done this?

Thanks!

I got my school uniform tailored. It was already an extra small but it looked like I was wearing a bedsheet. I'm modest and don't like things clingy but I also don't want to look frumpy! It's unprofessional if you ask me. So I had the top tailored and it looks so much better. None of the instructors have approached me about it. I don't think they noticed.

Yeah I had my uniform altered too. The uniform fit in some places but other places it was way baggy. I am on the other end of the weight spectrum, a XS wouldn't fit my thigh! lol Luckily my sister has sewn clothes since a teen so I got it done for free. If you go to church somewhere, ask around to see if someone does alterations to get it done cheap or post on craigslist.

Thats a really good idea. I wish I knew how to sew because I could make all my scrub tops for cheap!
