Tweety I hope you can get that shift switched

Stars sounds like a productive day

Yesterday was pretty ordinary. Went bird watching, had lunch with dad, did some laundry. Had to stop at the grocery store as I realized I had not gotten the ingredients for the frittata I'm making this week. Did some meal planning for next week, might do some cake baking next week too

Today have to get to church early as I'm usher. Then will make the frittata. Was supposed to do something with my friend N but his daughter came in town unexpectedly so we decided to reschedule for 2 weeks. Not sure what else I'll do today

Going to to warmer today, middle 80s. Considerably warmer next week

Have had a hard time waking up this morning, it has taken several hours for me to quit being groggy and become more alert.

Last night I woke up with my right thigh and knee singing with pains. Took some more Arnica tablets and sat up to rub the Arnica cream into my aching thigh and knee. I guess it must've worked because once I found a position that didn't aggravate the pains, I did fall asleep. But I woke up two-three times more and decided I really wasn't ready to get up. Now I feel more alert and feel the pressure to get back to my sorting and packing chores. But, I first must actually get UP, get dressed, and walk the pooch. I have three directions I can attack the tasks and I'm not sure where I will start. But, as usual I will use my nonlinear approach, as that works best for me.

Up and Away, Jr. Bird-Men! ( I have no idea where that comes from, though I have been using the expression for years.)

Yeah, so thus far in the past 2-3 hours, I have emptied off the shelving units at bedside, washed them down and transported them down to the den. They were heavy, but I am certainly GLAD the ugly old carpeting is still on the stairs, as I was able to turn them upside- down and SLIDE them down the stairs! (I yam a JENIUS!)

Of course now I have to go up and sort through all the stuff I emptied off them, onto the bed, and toss, or save-and-pack. If I don't do that, where will I sleep?? I am really glad, for absolute SURE, that I have no one 'helping' me, as 1.) I would probably drive them crazy with my methods, and 2.) They would surely make ME crazy with their suggestions. This is a case of "works better on her own."

It is almost 1 PM and I have stopped to wipe off my sweat, cool down, and eat something, which turns out to be a banana and some "Skinny Pop" (used to be called 'skinny girl') popcorn, water, and/or g'ale, and/or coffee. But, I know coffee is something that can dehydrate me, hence the other two drinks. And I may go up to the kitchen and eat some roast beef (already cooked, of course) or tuna, to pump up my protein. The words "pump up" always make me think of AHHHHRNOLD-'I'll be back'------

And I probably WILL be back, so see you'n's laydah!

Good morning!
Joe hop you had a good day off.

That coffee is dehydrating is now a myth that's been busted. It acts the same as water, which 99.999% of coffee is. I remember when I was learning I&O's back in the Stone Age they said to not count coffee as it's a diuretic. Not true.

Anyway. My overtime shift today was extremely busy as we were short techs and a nurse. It is what it is.

I did not get my shift covered. After 12 hours of hearing nothing I told best friend we have to come up with a plan B and he's going to reschedule as they offer no refunds. Otherwise I'll bite the bullet and pay for them. When I told one of them I didn't need her, she said "I was going to do it for you". Really? Took you over 24 hours of ignoring me to tell me this? I still said no thanks.

A Senior Moment with No Stars:

I decided to watch "Blazing Saddles" tonight; haven't seen it in ages. About an hour into the movie when Madeline Kahn came on screen, I realized I wasn't watching "Cat Ballou". No Jane Fonda!

Forget what I said about me being a jenius.
