Summer Job

Hi, this is the first time I've posted anything on here; I just finished my first year of nursing school (very excited), but now I'm out of school for the summer and have not much to do but study more. I would really like to do find a summer job working in the hospital and continue to get more experiance clinically. I've filled out numerous apps online, and have had no luck getting phone calls back, any suggestions on getting a summer hospital job, or even something somewhat related?

Online employment seems to work out fine for me, might want to look into it :wink2:

Did any of the hospitals where you did clinicals offer summer internship programs? I'd ask your professors if they know of anything. Good luck and congratulations on finishing year 1.

I work two jobs in the summer to include being a Nurse Extern full-time. If you cannot be a Nurse extern, try becoming a CNA at the local hospital. Whatever you do, don't spend the summer without thinking about nursing or science. Summers are LONG....

In a week or so I will start practicing NCLEX again... :) GL.
