I have noticed that sometimes I do not read the question properly, or understand what is truly being asked. Does anyone have any suggestions for this?
I am using Davis Success, and noticed when the question was clarified I was able to answer the questions.

I know exactly what you mean. I started using the mouse arrow to go over every word to make sure I was not missing any of them nor going to fast. I have a tendency of reading fast and skimming over what I have read. So, try to use the arrow from the mouse to slow down. Another pointer is that I'm a visual learner so I would visualize what was being asked or a procedure, etc....(when possible). Hope this help
I am a visual learner also, so picturing things in my head is a good idea, and maybe the mouse pointing will stop my skimming.

Read the question, do not look at the answers. Reword the question in your mind and make sure it is asking what you think.
Many questions are 2-3 sentences and can get confusing. Many are also "If you find this, you would not do this". Re phrase it to "I would not do this if I found this" sometimes makes it easier to find the answer. I also would re word them to ask what 3 things would you do and then the one you would not is the answer (since you would NOT do it).
I also read questions very fast. I made myself take my hand off the mouse and sit back in the chair for every question (a friend of mine said he actually sat on his hands after each question).
