I find that making flashcards always helps me in more than one way. It helps me because it allows me to write down information. Writing down info repeatedly is a good way of memorizing with me. Also, with flashcards, you can keep quizzing yourself. Also, I would record myself saying the information, and listen to it while I'm walking or exercising. I read a study not too long ago about how you retain information easier if you study it while being active, whether that's just walking or exercising at the gym.
