Studying but confused...Help!!!!!!

:o  :uhoh3: Well everyone the day is getting close taking the LPN boards next wed (14 Jul) and I feel a little confused. I have been doing some readings from the review book and also doing review questions. The problem is 50% of the time when I get an answer right the rationale the book gives for why the answer is correct is not always why I picked the correct answer and this is really scaring me. Also the fact that I am challenging the LPN as a RN student is now starting to concern me. I am just getting the NCLEX jitters or what? I have been studying for 3 weeks straight both reading and answering questions. I am thinking of stopping the reading and just do as many review questions as I can for the next 5 days (won't study the day before). By the way studying lab values like crazy but it is the prioritizing ,delegation, and meds I am worried about.

Thanks for any advice

Dont stress too much about studying.........if you can get your hands on the Kaplan review bookk, that will help.

It teaches you stratagies on how to answer questions. You know what you need to know to pass. Its all about picking the right answers......

hope this helps

Thanks you guys. I have been reading saunders testing strategies but it seems like when its time for me to answer the questions I forget everything they talked about and answer the questions my own way. Sometimes I am right sometimes I am wrong. My critical thinking isn't always their critical thinking on why the answer is right. But we will see on Wed.

Thanks again got to get back to studying!!!!!!!!!!
