I have a question.

Regarding the flashcards, I'm using a set for Psych right now, but it's pretty basic and pretty simple to color code.

How do you all color code the index cards for things like a&p? I'm great when I'm organized, but it's thinking up the organizational skills that's a killer!

I agree...read, read and read more. I read every day and dedicate 1 weekend day to studying. I work 40 hours. It's not easy. The house is a mess, as long as there aren't bugs, I'm good :uhoh21: Dust and husky fur, I can live with!

I make my own flashcards. Hundreds of em lol.

The only way I color code them is that I use a different color for each section. For ex: my upcoming test on blood( cards are baby blue), lymphatic( cards are yellow) and immune ( cards are white).

Hi, I break the subject matter down per color....(like the previous post). In addition: when I had to learn the muscles, I made a bunch of copies of the muscle men. I taped them to the cards and highlighted the muscle on the body-and then put the name of the muscle on the back of the card. (now of course I know this was small for a 3x5 card) but I did not have to squint or "go blind" trying to figure them out. I also did the same thing when I was learning histology. I would tape pictures of the slides on the cards in the same manner, I would break the cards done by color @ cartilage-green/ epithelial-pink, ...... you get the idea. Sooo much easier to keep in your pocket (I could review at work inbetween customers, while waiting in traffic, etc.)
