I am in my first semester of my RN program, while I am extremely excited to be 16 months away from my BSN, I am also....overwhelmed, to say the least!
To prepare for class and exams I have always thoroughly studied my notes as well as note cards. Rumor has it, the key to studying in nursing school is honing in only on info the professor went over as well as key concepts from the chapter? I just want to know what people who have gone through the program or are currently in school recommend! Should I do all of the reading and outline the chapters before class, or do all of the reading before class but outline the chapters after lecture to use as a study guide, honing in especially on what the professor went over? I noticed they give us chapters on chapters of reading but don't come close to touching upon all of it in lecture...
I could use a little help to say the least! I am normally a very organized and confident student, I would like to stay that way if possible!
Thank you :)
