I used pearson vue's exam cram and did all the practice questions. I used saunders 4rth edition (green book) for the nclex. Basically, search around in the forums for fact sheets etc I dont know where it is in here but someone posted tons of quick facts that you should know. Example: all the lab values and signs and symptoms associated with levels being too high or too low....

I'd also suggest reviewing all your notes you took in school...study to UNDERSTAND the information and not just memorize it. The nclex looks like its determining your critical thinking skills, judgement, priority questions, etc... keep your head up and keep trying. Never give up! :yeah:

Here is the study guide that has been posted, I think its very helpful. 25855834-Nclex-Study-Guide.pdf I hope it opens , b/c i am not sure how to attach the file.

hi toshie..if u want a study partner u can email me: [email protected]

try getting saunders 5th edition for content and lacharity for prioritization/critical thinking skills.

kaplan is great by the way, has your account with kaplan already expired?cus if not continue answering a lot of questions there.. read the rationales regardless if your answer was right or wrong.

God bless and goodluck to you in your studies :)

@ Toshie: I am sorry to hear that. Do not give up.

What were your Trainer scores? Q-Bank Scores? Did you go over all the the questions and read all the rationales? Could you please share your scores here? Greatly appreciated!

I am taking Kaplan as well and will take the NCLEX-RN soon. I am so nervous because I think my scores are low.

Study for at least an hour when they nap. Or study when they go to bed, I finally passed mine on the third try, and I went back to Saunders study guide CD and book. Answer ALL of the questions, it really helped me. There are thousands of questions, and some of them are eerily similar to the NCLEX. I swear by Saunders that I am finally making 8 more dollars an hour than an LPN just for a peice of paper, that I busted my @$$ for.
