Study group?

Good Day

Just wondering if you guys study in groups. I am not a study group kinda guy but all of my instructors strongly recommend study groups. The chair of the program actually stated that it's a sure way to past the program.

I tend to absorb and retain info by just reading and reading and reading.

Whata guys think???

thanks and out, fishngolf

If you are going to be in a study group, it needs to be a serious group that gets a lot done, and also the group needs to study in ways that are actually helpful to you. Personally I can't study this way, if we are at school and are a few hours from taking a test, I have a group of friends and we will occasionally quiz each other and explain concepts etc.. but that is about it.
