Student Loans

I want to take a loan out for my BSN but I cannot get anything approved without a cosigner. I have no issue with car loans. I don't understand it and I really want to cry. The two places I've tried so far have said that I need a cosigner. Is it because of my age (24)? My credit is actually good.

I'm scared to ask my mom about her cosigning because she has cosigned other loans for me and my sister. My sister has almost over 100,000 in loans so I don't even know if they would let her cosign. Even with sallie mae who I have a relationship with that I pay on time every month.
