The School I applied for doesn't participate in the federal student loans...like Stafford Loans. Any suggestions to where I get other loans? I do get a small pell grant, but I need more to pay for school and supplement my income while I go to school. Any Ideas would be great!!! Thanks!

When I attended a private and expensive LPN/LVN program back in 2004, I financed the entire tuition amount with a Sallie Mae student loan.
Thank you....I just really don't know how to go about it? Do you only qualifyfor the amount of your schooling, or is there a limit to what you can get per semester like with the federal loans. I need enough for my schooling plus some to help support my family since I won't be working full time anymore. I wasn't sure how it worked, any input would be great!!!!

You should apply for the Wells Fargo MedCap Alternative Loan for Health Professionals. It's a private loan for undergraduate students in health related programs. It has a pretty low prime rate and is much lower than regular bank loans for education. You can borrow for as much as your cost of education (usually found on your school's financial aid website). After you apply, your school certifies the amount to make sure it does not exceed your cost of attendance. Visit https://www.wellsfargo.com/student/graduate/med_alter/ for more info.
Hope this helps...
