Hey everyone,
I'm applying to a few ABSN programs and since I already have one bachelor's degree, I don't qualify for any scholarships/grants/financial aid. Like many nursing students, I am going to have to get a loan in order to attend school. Anyone have any recommendations on the smartest way to go about this? Or any info on places that I should not get a loan from? I've heard bad reviews about Sallie Mae from a few people but other than that I am still working on doing my own research. Definitely like to hear other's experiences first hand though so if you have any suggestions or tips, please let me know! Thank you!

Hey! in a similar position. Sallie may gave me an interest rate I think is too high, and I cant get any more federal aid from my first degree. Id say shop around and see where you can get the lowest interest rate! if you find anything lmk!

Wells Fargo is getting out of the student loan business. Sallie Mae has a spin off company called Navient Student Loans. Your financial aid office may have some suggestions.
