Stuck in pre-reqs! Help!!!

Hi all!

I am so stuck and I feel like my school offers no type of guidance whatsoever.

Currently, I'm enrolled in Hunter college but after speaking with an advisor, she tried to talk me out of nursing because my previous GPA wasn't that great. But I've picked up my GPA and I'm still in the process of completing pre-reqs. I'm planning on applying to NYU's accelerated nursing program after getting my bachelor's from Hunter but I am so confused. I've heard NYU is not so difficult as long as my personal statement and pre-reqs are completed, but I'm not sure. Do any of you recommend any other schools to apply to for nursing programs with a less strict requirement than Hunter? I feel so hopeless, and I don't know what steps to exactly take..

Any guidance/advice would be appreciated!

Thank you!! :) :) :)

I live an hour north of the city, and I know there are a decent amount of schools for nursing around NYC. I would look into some of those schools

Try Adelphi, Pace, Molloy and/or LIU. However, all those colleges are private. For Suny/Cuny, you can apply to Stony Brooks, Lehman and Buffalo University.
