I'd like to share this story with everyone so it doesn't happen to any of you!
So my community college did not post grades until about June 5. So, that day when the grades were posted i ordered official transcripts. My order was as followed:
1 Transcript w/ IGETC certification (to be mailed directly to the school)
3 Transcripts w/o certification (to be mailed to my house)
On June 7th they received my faxed authorization form to process the transcripts... on the website it says that rush delivery can not be made for certified transcripts and that it would take 10-15bus days.
So... today June 29... 22DAYS after they started the process my order is STILL NOT COMPLETE... my college needs it by TOMORROW in order to allow me in for Fall admission... so i call the transcript company and complain about why it still has not been sent. They say since I got the IGETC cert. it takes longer... yet on there site it says 10-15days CLEARLY NOT 22DAYS!!!! sooo then I let them know I had a feeling this would happen and that is why I ordered the 3 regular transcripts to be sent to my house, and asked why those were still not finished. They said I had to order them separately to have them sent separately!!!
So... my only alternative... was to purchase a RUSHED regular transcript today (quite more expensive) pick it up at 12pm tomorrow at my community college and then postmark it by tomorrow to be sent to my transfer college.
Yes, it is my fault for not checking till the day before... BUT, it should not have taken this long for my order to process. be aware of this future transfer students!!!!!

It's a pain in the rear trying to get transcripts. The ones I ordered for my school I paid the extra funds for a rush fee. It said 10 days, I called my school on day 11 to find out if they had received them. If my advisor had told me no, I would have been on the phone ASAP. I just don't trust it when I cannot do the legwork myself.
