still waiting...

Hello all..

I took my exam on Wednesday at 1:15 pm. Check at 2:00pm today and still no results from pearson. Is there something with the website or I failed already. My BON doesn't post result till the first of every month. BTW...I had 130ish and I think I got the last couple questions wrong. The survey about the Pearson staff also appeared in the end. Are these signs of my failure? Oh well..all I can do no is continue to wait. Please pray for me. THank you all.

There can be a backlog this time of year in the posting of exam results, especially to states' BONs. Maybe this is the reason. The number of questions you received on the test has no bearing whatsoever on whether or not you passed. People pass with the minimum of 75 as well as the max of 265. Also, if you knew that you got the last few wrong, again, that doesn't make any difference. The computer test is designed so that you end up missing 50% of the test questions, so it really doesn't matter if you got the last few wrong - you can still pass is what I'm trying to say.

And the Pearson survey is just for Pearson staff and has nothing to do with the NCLEX.

Hopefully you'll get good news soon and try to relax, read a book, if the weather is nice go for a walk or bike ride, whatever you need to do to keep your mind off the test. I know, easier said than done.
