Stethoscope

I will begin clinicals in January (ADN program) and cannot decide on a stethoscope, or nursing shoes for that matter. Please help!!!

How are you Molly Cate "RN" if you're just beginning nursing clinicals?? I like Littmann and Dansko, myself.

I agree with Sour Lemon, you need to take the RN off until you've earned it, then I'll be happy to see you place it back on. :)

I like the Littmann also, I've had two, the first one finally warped from the time it spent around my neck, it still works but looks really funny, I keep it in my emergency kit. My second one I decided not to wear around my neck, then I got a job on a unit that provides an adult and pediatric stethoscope to each station and I don't even take mine to work.

I like the Dansco too, I need a wide shoe and select styles of the Dansco come in wide. I like zappos.com, because you can purchase them and if they don't fit, send them back and get a different size, their returns are easy and free.
