toollady 1 Post May 2, 2008 what ever you pick keep a good hold on it because they have a badhabit of geeting legs and walking away. I paid $100 on mine and laidat the desk for a few minutes and when I came back it was gone. Noone where it went even though my name was on it. I never to this dayfound out what happen to it. So now I buy cheap ones so I am not outall that money.

mcknis 977 Posts Specializes in Med Surg, ER, OR. Jun 15, 2008 Littmann cardiology II is no longer made, only the Cardiology III is left. Still a very good stethoscope. If I were in your shoes, i would purchase the Littmann Lightweight due to name, weight, feel, etc. I personally do not like the way the Ultrascope feels. I know another former student who used to have Ultrascope and loved it, though.

Jun 24, 2008 I would definitely go with the Littman brand, I have used other cheaper ones at work and found my Littman to be sooo much better. I have never used an Ultrascope though. Don't forget to get an ID tag for it and don't set it down for too long!
