Starting Salary

Has anyone within the last few years started out as a new rn at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital or Regional Hospital in Jackson, TN? If so what is the starting pay for any shift?

    When I lived in Nashville all the major hospitals started floor RN's at $18.-- an hour. It's not Jackson, but pretty close.

    I started close to there at 18/hour, but I haven't had a raise in 3 years. We are rural. I stll ake 18.

    Human Resources probably has this data posted somewhere, maybe in their office. "Starting" salary means different things. Starting as a new grad? Starting as a nurse with experience? Starting as nurse with experience in one area but now hired to another, more specific area (like med-surg to ICU)? Most facilities negotiate if they need to fill a position.
