I am planning on applying to transfer to a nursing program (BSN) this upcoming spring (2015), but I've had some trouble finding all the schools that accept spring admission. I currently live in California and I would prefer to stay in state simply because it is cheaper. It would be great if any of you could either list schools which you know allow spring admission for nursing majors or if you know of a website that lists them, that would be wonderful! Also, if you know of a really great school out of state (with spring admission) that you think I should look into, please let me know. I know its more expensive to go out of state but it could be worth it! Thank you in advance!

I don't know if any website that states which colleges admit new students each semester, but here is a list of all pre-licensure BSN programs in California:
Board of Registered Nursing - RN Programs
Then just go down the list to see which ones you are interested in and check if they do spring admission. My advice: pick the schools asap so that you can fulfill their requirements before applying. The application period for schools vary, so you don't want to miss any deadlines.

It may be too late for Spring admission, considering the Spring semester at many schools begins in less than a month.
Your best bet would be to take a list of the schools you are looking at, and then call them or go to their website to see if they are still admitting for Spring 2015. I think most now may be accepting only for Fall 2015 but it's worth a try.
Thank you for your help!
Oops I was a little unclear in my original post but I mean I would be beginning the application process this spring (2015) to transfer next spring (2016)
