Speaking to the AZ transfers out there

Upon moving to AZ, how was your experience transferring over your license with the AZBN? Did you start your application process before you even moved? How time-efficient is the AZBN? Coming from TX, I don't expect too much, as they take their sweet time here. I understand that I can practice in AZ on my TX license for 30 days before it becomes null. Is this enough time for me to apply and receive my AZ license? I was planning on applying early to get the process started.

Thanks for any input.

Definitely apply early. Do not assume it will be done in the 30 days. I ran into some problems and only got mine through in time to start a job because I had a friend in the Lic. department. I was moving from MI to AZ.
