I'm four months into a job I've always wanted with great co-workers on a fast paced med surg floor. Lately, I have been questioning if this is what I really want. The hours, feeling like a maid.... But I also know that the first year is the hardest year to get thru, so maybe it's just transitioning to such a stressful job. I'm not looking for another job....just have this vague feeling of not being happy. But, I love the medical field and couldn't go anywhere else. Maybe it's just a phase???

At four months you are probably exiting the honeymoon phase and getting a bit disillusioned by the less exciting daily grind. This is not always a bad thing. What stuck out to me the most is you wrote that your team is excellent and to me that is the single biggest thing that I look for, second only by my pay rate lol, when picking a job. Hang in there with it and I'm betting you will continue to have times of ebb and tide with regard to your job satisfaction.

Yes I second this. Working with great people is very important and they will give the support you need as a new grad.
