I have to write a paper on nurses opinions about, uh.. nursing. So I figured the best thing I could do would be to get a few opinions of a couple questions:

What's your opinion of your career compared to your ideas when you initially graduated? compared to before you started school even.

What is the most exciting and desirable part of your job? And finally, what is the LEAST desirable portion of your job?

what is the most exciting and desirable part of your job?all the new advances that have been made in healthcare.i'm continually amazed. and finally, what is the least desirable portion of your job?

What's your opinion of your career compared to your ideas when you initially graduated? compared to before you started school even.

You know- the first few months I kept thinking- "I had no idea what I was getting myself into"

Now I like my career, I like that I can get a job most anywhere with most any hours I want.

What is the most exciting and desirable part of your job?

Making people feel better. Getting thanked for a good job done

And finally, what is the LEAST desirable portion of your job?

Patients and family that are mean. Patients who die too young or from preventable illnesses. Having 12 things I need to do this instant.. sometime prioritizing is so hard.

What's your opinion of your career compared to your ideas when you initially graduated? Started career in psychiatric nursing, so first few months, wasn't sure what I had gotten myself into. After 2.5 years, for the most part, am happy with the decision. As any job, some bad days and wonder if I made the right decision.

Compared to before you started school even - Had no idea when started school or what to expect. Just wanted to work with patients and make a difference. :nurse:

What is the most exciting and desirable part of your job? The changes in the health field and making a difference in the lives of my patients. :saint:

And finally, what is the LEAST desirable portion of your job "Paperwork" which comes with every job. :banghead:
