So excited!

At my school, there are two tracks for the LVN program -- a highly competitive, full-time program (18 months) and a part-time program (24 months). I was accepted to the part-time program (which I was okay with) and was an alternate candidate for the full-time program (which I really wanted). I thought I wouldn't know if I was going to be granted a spot in the full-time program until close to the start date (end of August). Today, 6 weeks early, I got a phone call inviting me to join the full-time class! Of course, I accepted. I am so thrilled! Just had to share with those who would understand my glee! :w00t:

That's awsome!! Congrats! And stick with it. There will be days you want to stop but don't. 18 months though seems long for an LVN program. Mine was only 10.. 18 months seems like a long push but I'm sure you can do it!

Well, with the holiday/seasonal breaks, the actual class/clinical time will be about 14-15 months. I know it's longer than a lot of programs out there, but I'm interested in maintaining a life outside of school, too. ;)

Congrats! Take this six weeks and prepare yourself mentally and physically, it is going to be a roller coaster ride.

congrats! it's hard, but you can do it

Congratulations! I'll be starting my program September 4th! It's 11 months and my graduation date is 8/16/2013! I share the same enthusiasm as you! We'll be learning so much it's going to fly by, trust me! That 18 months is going to feel like 11 lol...Good luck to you!
