I have my A.S. degree in Nursing and my LPN license... can I challenge the NCLEX-RN without any further classes?
I asked my counselor, but she couldn't give me a straight answer.
Someone who knows please clear this up for me! Thanks!

I believe that your Associate Degree in Nursing qualifies you to sit for NCLEX-RN.
Your advisor doesn't know? That alarms me...

What exactly was your major? Was is nursing, or is it practical nursing?
If you have an associate degree in practical nursing, you must attend a state-approved RN bridge program to be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN. The NCLEX-RN cannot be challenged anywhere in the US, and there's no quick way around completing an approved program.
If you have an ADN (associate degree in nursing) or an AAS (associate of applied science in nursing), you should be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN without having to challenge the board.
