SJSU BSN program Spring 2022

hi all! been browsing here and checking my email incessantly even though I know we don't hear back till thanksgiving time. I got a 94 on the TEAS and my GPA for prereqs is a 3.78. I did take chem 1a 7 years ago, and if they take that grade instead of 30A, then my GPA would be a 3.63. 

in other words, my impaction score would be a 6.91 or a 6.76

tryna gauge where the cutoff might be this round for acceptances and waitlist-- fingers crossed!

They will take whatever you designated as your prerequisite courses on Nursing Cas. I think you will get in! Nice TEAS score and good enough GPA for Spring ? Keep us posted, but don't worry too much! 

they'll take your chem30A grade. our impaction scores are pretty close (6.93), I met with my advisor and she said she's optimistic for me! so it should be the same for you ?  

thank you both!! makes me breathe a little easier, but I guess we'll see in a few weeks! I also applied to evc's program with the hope to do their BSN with sjsu and depending on how this month goes, might also apply to ohlone (since they bridge with csu east bay)

I think you've got this. 60 students will be admitted and then 20 or so of those will go elsewhere so even if you aren't initially accepted I think worst case scenario you would be waitlisted and then get in. ?

Congrats everyone! I truly am so so so happy for you guys. I'm on the waiting list. If anyone is not going to accept their admission, could you please let me know so I can calculate if I'm going to have a chance. I really hope that I get to meet all of you and make amazing memories. ? Thanks!
