Situation here; please help!

I graduated from nursing school this past December and took my boards in early February. Unfortunately, I did not pass. I am currently looking for work in the health care field until I am able to sit for the boards again in May. I am not certified to be a nursing assistant, but I am applying for positions as Patient Care Assistants and Unit Secretaries. I have a freaking Bachelor's Degree, but no one wants to hire me!!!! :angryfire It angers me that I have such a valuable degree and there is nothing I can do with it until I pass this exam. Threre is no telling how many times I am going to have to take the exam to pass, though I pray I only have to take it one more time! Can anyone relate? If so, please help!!!

What about Nurse Tech? I know when your in nursing school you can work as a Nurse Tech. Maybe there is a program like that at a local hospital.

I am not sure that i am the one to reply, because i am a foreign trained nurse for 18 yrs now and can't find work until i pass the NCLEX R/N. i failed twice and i am trying again. I do relate to you in that you feel qualified to work but because of an exam, you feel ignored and cast aside. i know how this feels. i have felt this way for 3 yrs. well i saw other responses from fellow nurses sent to you, so see where that leads you and good luck. Please never give up !!!.
