One main question... This is a bit weird but.. I kinda talk to myself when I read questions.
I have a tendency to read the questions out loud. Will this be acceptable during the NCLEX??
It's a habit I can not stop. I do not actually speak loud and inconsiderate but I do talk.
What do you guys think?

I don't know if that will be allowed, not just because it will be irritating to those testing around you, but because everything you say and do will be recorded during the exam. They may think you're cheating somehow. I read out loud too so that I can comprehend what I'm reading more easily, but during the test I simply mouthed the words. Try that. That's my only suggestion. I would definitely not read aloud though. You're being watched the entire time so that may not look too good. :)

I agree that constantly reading the questions could be perceived as cheating somehow. You are audio and video recorded and it may appear that you are talking to someone.
Also, depending on how busy your test center is, it might be distracting to those sitting next to you. There will be a sign in the test center that says "No Talking In the Testing Room." And they are serious.
Practice reading questions without saying the words. I know it is something you can control if you focus on it. If you have to, you can silently mouth the words.

I found noise in the testing area to be very distracting, even the inadvertent chair squeakings. Since you are aware of this, I definitely would include practicing quiet mouthing of the questions. And you could call a testing site ahead of time to ask about this. They might be able to accommodate putting you into a private booth so you don't disturb others.

Sorry no you can't talk during the test...even if its a soft tone. You might here others like making a sigh from time to time...but really no talking. And the people at the testing site can kick you out. So don't do it. Yes I agree with the other posting quiet mouthing. So practice now. Best of luck.
