Plastic surgery nurse vs geriatric....which would u rather do???????

Featured Replies

Anything but geriatric. I work in a psych hospital as a CNA, and I can't stand the days I get sent to the "medically high risk" floor. It's nothing but extremely sad people that can't get placed in decent nursing homes. With most of them there's just nothing there - completely removed from reality. I'd rather see people get better and move on!

yeah i think that when i'm done with nursing school i would like to work in a clinic or something i love working with the elderly but i want to see people get better too and move on...

"plastic surgery vs geriatrics" is a broad generalization.

Are you talking about plastic surgery for beauty or plastic surgery for someone disfigured from a burn?

As for geriatrics, I hope you realize that the majority of patients in hospitals are geriatric. Most do get better and move on.
