Simmons BSN 2017

Hi, Just starting a thread for anyone who applied to Simmons for a 2017 start. I applied for the two year BSN as a Dix Scholar.

    Nope! I just emailed the advisor today so see if she knows when we would hear back. Are you all done with pre reqs?

    Hey, just wanted to let you know I heard back from the advisor and she said letters go out next week. I'm assuming I didn't get in since she didn't say anything in the email except to let me know letters would be be out soon. Good luck to you!

    Don't stress about the e-mail because they are not allowed to tell you any admission news over e-mail or phone.

    Simmons asked me yesterday for my updated transcripts so that my grades from the fall were included, so I sent those right away.

    I am taking A&P II and Micro now at Middlesex. What about you?

    And did you apply to/hear from any other schools?

    I'm sooo nervous I applied for the January 1st deadline. One of my schools didn't send me transcripts out. My professor completely flaked on me and I had to ask another professor to submit a recommendation for me, which she wrote in 2 days (bless her soul). I hope the delay didn't make a huge impact on the decision. Anywho I've been stalking Simmons.edu and now it says decision mailed! I'll be waiting by the door til I get that decision letter. This is the only school I applied for (I know risky, right). No idea how I'm going to pay for it, but I hope I get in and everything else will just falls into place. Good luck ladies! Can't wait to see you all in the fall!! (speaking it into existence)

    Any one have any news yet? I checked my Simmons application online and it just says decision mailed which I expected because the advisor told me the letters were out a week ago. I'm IN Boston so I can't imagine what is taking so long!
