sick dear friend

Hi everyone! I cannot sleep because I have a beautiful little boy who has been a loyal friend for 10 years and now is not doing very well. I am talking about my Beagle Bailey and I hope I make sense here because my heart is breaking because I really don't know what else to do. He was diagnosed with glaucoma on Saturday and I thought it was just going to be infection so I was pretty shocked. He is on Timolol and he drinks a little water but that it. H is sleeping most of the time but I am so worried because I know he can't survive the way he is going. I was told to go to a Vet opthamologist and I have an appt. but if any of you who have pets and know ANYTHING i can do to make this better would you please let me know. This is so hard I wish it was m and not him. All of you who love your pets know where I am right now. Thanks for being there.

Does he seem uncomfortable? If not, just let him be. If he starts losing a lot of weight take him back to your vet, but for now just let him be. At least he's taking fluids.

This is really something that can only be discussed with your vet. Sorry you are going through some tough times from someone who has just lost a member of the family but in the same way we can not offer medical advice for human we can't offer it for pets

Following discussion we are reopening this thread for support only. If medical advice is offered it will be removed as in the same way if we was asking for ourselves.
