Should I try to go back to school?

You're asking random strangers for advice. Assuming you're an LVN....is there more you want to do that you can't do? Do you love this profession enough to want to go back to school? My sister's an LVN and is completely happy doing what she does (work in a hospital's outpatient clinic).

Yes, you may have to take out loans unless you're working for an entity that will pay for your schooling. The VA may pay for that if you work a year or more and then commit to more years once you've acquired the degree. Also google medical shortage areas. If you're willing to work for an entity in a MSA you may have loan forgiveness.

If you go through a junior college to get your RN, that's not usually too expensive, relatively speaking, if you're from the geographical area that school serves. You would certainly earn enough money as a registered nurse to pay back any loans.

I cannot say whether or not you should return to school- but I CAN say- avoid WCU! Please, please, please run the numbers on the appalling amount of student debt you would accrue at this for-profit university and then look elsewhere.

A decade or more of crushing debt is not something you want.
