Hello, I am currently a pre-nursing student with a dual citizenship to the US and Philippines. I am thinking about going to school in the Philippines for my BSN and the school I'm planning to attend is Emilio Aguinaldo College in Cavite, which is a Level-2 Accredited Program certified by PACUCOA and ISO Certified. Would this be a good school to attend?
I live in Nevada and attending school here is expensive as I would be considered an out-of-state student. I'm originally from Cali and was considering moving back there to pursue my ADN at my local community college. I wouldn't have to pay much for the class due to financial aid, but the cost of living in Cali is what made my family move in the first place. If I were to go to the Philippines, I wouldn't have to worry about the cost of living as I would be living with my relatives there.
After studying in the Philippines, I do plan on coming back to the US as I want to work in California. I also plan on becoming a nurse practitioner after receiving my BSN. I have heard of how much more strict the Board of Nursing is in Cali and it is making me a bit wary of studying in the Philippines.
Any advice? Thank you.
