I have an odd question. I am a nursing student in Colorado, and a single mom of two sons, 11 & 13. We want to relocate to the northeast - Boston area
I have the opportunity to enter an ABSN program in Dartmouth, Mass, or staying here and relocating post grad from a traditional program in Colorado, and going then.
I have been told by several nurse recruiters that if at all possible, I should complete the clinical portion of my education in the market I want to work in, as many contacts and eventual placements result from these experiences.
Moving now, clinicals start in January, would be expensive, but I am wondering if it would be the smartest decision in the lomg run.
I really appreciate any advice you can give me.
