Hai, I am enrolled in bmcc and used to be in there Pre- clinical program but due to my bad grades on my amp1 and amp2 which i got "C" on both, they drag me out of the nursing program......When i had a discussion with one of the adviser here, he told me to another college, when i did a research i find out that u need have at least 3.0 GPA and A's on most of the classes in order for you to get into others school program such as Long Island university and stony brook....I don't know, i am totally lost. It been two years almost doing and taking every courses and i am done with all my pre-requirement classes...I am still not into the program. Is there any other options rather than taking those classes ("C") over again cause no matter how many times i will take it, i am not going to have A's. Or should i just switch my major to something else such as accounting. I hope its not to late..God please Bless me!!

The RN program I am in right now is very competitive. I got a "B" in AP 1 and to make sure I got in I took it over and got an "A". If you want it as bad as I wanted it, then retake both AP classes and make A's in them. Anything is possible, you just can't be afraid to work hard for it.

So you've taken all the pre-reqs to apply to the nursing programs in your are but you haven't achieved the minimum required GPA? I would switch majors if I were you. I'm not trying to be negative, just realistic. Every semester you stay in school you're losing potential wages at a job, and spending money on school. Switch your major so you can graduate and start working in another field.
which collge are u in right now...and how long did it take you to get into that program
