Should I call the interviewer?

I had an interview for a new grad position and was told I would hear something by Friday. I understand it is Memorial Day Weekend and honestly didn't expect to hear back on Friday simply because of the holiday. That said, if I don't hear back on Tuesday, should I call my interviewer say thanks for the interview and ask if she's made a decision, or would that be inappropriate?

    It's not inappropriate to call, but I would give them a little bit more time. These things always take longer than they think they will. I would call towards the end of the work day on Wednesday. When you call just say you are following up on an interview and would like to know if a decision has been made.
