Shoreline Fall 2020

Hello! I am currently applying to schools in Washington and I was wondering if anyone else on here is applying for the RN program at Shoreline. If you are, what are your points and what other schools are you applying to?

Do you guys know how to count points for PAX EXAM scores? I have no idea how people get over 100 points because mine is only 100 before counting pax exam score.

The PAX exam does not count for any points, you just need a certain score to apply!

I wonder what the cut off will be for this quarter! I have 109.1, but I know that Fall usually has the highest cut off so I am still worried.

Yea, it usually does have the highest cutoff, but I think we should be good with 108 and 109. I've been told that 105-106 is considered competitive.

Yeah I kind of remember that from the information session! Hopefully we will end up in the same cohort ?

@Joseph Martinez Do you happen to know when letters normally go out? Also, I just looked at their class schedule and it looks like their fall classes are online which is disappointing.

From my understanding and from what previous students have told me; letters go out 6 weeks after the application closes. So I think letters should be going out this week sometime. That's if this whole COVID thing hasn't delayed any of that. Hopefully they go out soon though ??

I actually sent an email to officer but I didn't get any reply since March. I had problem for getting my volunteer verification form due to COVID pandemic but I haven't heard anything from school. I already submitted my application but I don't know how I deal with my scores without volunteer hours.. I'm so upset and sad ?

Hopefully they will understand because of our unique circumstances! I emailed the school today and got one of those automated responses saying that the letters will be sent out a week late, so you should know what they are doing about those points soon.

I got in! The minimum for Fall 2020 was 106.6 ?

So I am on the alternate list. Really hoping that I'm not too far down the list and have a chance to get a real spot. Anyone know what the likely hood that some spots will open up?
