Shingles presentation

I think Powerpoint would be great to show pictures or to illustrate bullet points...but I disagree that it would take up more time and could cost you points in a presentation.

The purpose of a presentation is to see how YOU present yourself, not to see how well you know how to work a computer program...so fully plan on speaking the entire time.

If you combine a power point presentation WITH a well researched speech...I think you are on the road to an A.

When you time yourself, you will be shocked at how easy it is to speak for 15 to 20 minutes. So don't be intimiated until you actually try it.

I'm working on a PowerPoint for a presentation this week, and in order to make it somewhat interactive, am having a small (4 question) Q & A during the early part to get the "audience" involved and make them think...the Q & A involves information that pertains to the "why" of the particular research item I am presenting, thus also addressing a requirement of the project...

I have been wracking my brain trying to think of some way to include them, and this is what I came up with...if you have handouts or can include some pictures as mentioned above that could be used, that will help too...

Another good thing is to have the questions relating to content in the first slide and doing a "pre test", then doing your presentation and putting the same slide at the end and getting people to try again - compare the pre and post test score to get an idea of how effective the presentation was. You would only need around 10 slides for a 15 min presentation.
