Nurses where I work get 6.50/hour weekends and 4.00/hour for nights. There is an incentive plan in place for nurses as well, which means nurses can commit to at least one 8/10/12 hour shift per week. When they work their extra shift, they are paid 75-100 dollars per shift extra. Once they complete the entire committment, they get a lump sum bonus of the sum of their previous bonus money...does that make sense?
In other words...if they work one 12 hour shift per week for the entire program they make 100 dollars for each extra shift they worked (paid in their paychecks during the pay period in which they worked). Then a lump sum is paid at the end of the program.
Hope that helps you.

I work at a local nursing home, and receive a $3 hourly shift differential for working the graveyard shift (10pm to 6am).
I worked weekends at another facility for 2 years. Under the Baylor Plan, I was paid 40 hours for working 32 hours on Saturday and Sunday (two 16 hour shifts).
thanks

When I worked in Texas (4 months ago) we got 5/hour more for nights and 6/hour more for weekends. We also got 250 dollars plus time and a half for any bonus shift.
