I'm 9 mos. from becoming an r.n. and wondered if anyone from northeast ohio could give me the heads up on what hospital has the best shift differentials. I'm considering working night shift, plus may have to start there anyway.....
thanks!!:wink2:

I am a new grad working at the Cleveland Clinic's main hospital. I'm not sure what the shift diff is for nights, but for evenings (anything after 3:30) it's an extra $1/hour. I was able to start on my unit as day/evening rotation, so nights might not need to happen if you really don't want them too! Good Luck with everything comming up!!
thanks for replying!
i think the cleve. clinic isn't paying enough shift diff. for r.n.'s!
i made almost $1 more for evening shift as an e.r. tech 14 yrs. ago at huron rd. hosp. (before it combined w/ the cleve. clinic)???
i've read post from r.n.'s in other states at least that are getting their base pay plus, 10% of their wage for evening and 15% for nights.
oh-well, do you like it there?.....guess that's what's important!!
oops! it submitted twice....

I work for a hospital in cincy, part of the health alliance. We pay 4 bucks for evenings and nights. Plus our bonus program. If you pick up an extra shift during the week it's an extra 7 and hours (plus overtime) and on the weekends it's an extra 10. When we are really short they will pay you double bonus!!! Hope this helps:monkeydance:
