Hey just wanted to get a forum going for anyone who just applied to the Sharp new grad RN program last week. Good luck to everyone!

They asked to bring a physical copy of the portfolio to the actual interview. I included my cover letter, resume, letters of recommendation, employee references, degree, license, BLS/ACLS, nursing scholarships and past certifications from other healthcare positions that I've held (CNA, Phlebotomy, Medical Assistant, etc)...pretty much in that order, I enclosed each document in a page protector and bound them inside a thin binder. I did not include a table of contents and kept the portfolio to maybe 10 to 12 documents total. Everyone is going to have a different portfolio and that is ok but it essentially includes professional documents related to your healthcare journey and the position you are applying for.

Ahhh thank you so much for taking the time to reply!!! I appreciate it so much! By chance did you include a photo of yourself in the actual portfolio? Many blessings to you and your nursing journey!! Again thank you ?

Hi everyone,

I am preparing to apply for Sharp's new grad program and came across this chat. I was just wondering what documents you had to provide when applying. For example, did you have to submit your letters of recommendation on the initial application? Thanks in advance!
